We watched some of the programme last night and personally I thought it was a bunch of romanticised bollocks! Definitely had a southern slant on things too.

I was born in 71' so I only remember choppers, Muhammid Ali and it being really fecking hot one summer... must have been great!Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I grew up in the 70s (8-18)
Good stuff; Music - truly a game of two halves, great time to be a kid.
Rubbish stuff; Pretty much everything else, politics, style, cars - it was all pants....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
