Oh yeah, it was ******* ace!
I did mention those. Under 'strikes' and 'inflation'.

Not the IMF though, which passed me by at the time as a technicality.

70-72 - strikes, power cuts, fuel shortages, decimalisation.

            We emigrated.

We watched some of the programme last night and personally I thought it was a bunch of romanticised bollocks! Definitely had a southern slant on things too.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

                    I grew up in the 70s (8-18)

Good stuff; Music - truly a game of two halves, great time to be a kid.

Rubbish stuff; Pretty much everything else, politics, style, cars - it was all pants.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
