    Granted you need a slice of luck but he argued only a special type of horse can win the national and landed a few big gambles in the race. The main thing to consider is a horse that will last the extreme distance. Even in 2009 Mon Mome’s win at 100/1 wasn’t a total shock as the beast had won a Welsh national. Both my selections have stamina in abundance.
