Anyone used 'Red' Diesel in their Cars?

Not personally but had a mate who used to use it quite regularly when we were younger. He compunded it by nicking the stuff as well.

a "friend" used it a lot when commuting

did about 60k miles on the stuff saving £20 a tank

mechanic warned against it as said it would degrade seals etc

fuel injectors eventually went on the car, but this was a common problem on ford mondeo's that have 180k on the clock
