            Our 04 reg 3 Liter does about 22mpg on an average tank, up to about 28mpg if on a long motorway trip. I've actually had 38mpg out of a tank once just to see if I could do the weekly drive on a single tank but that did mean tailgating trucks up and down the m6/m5 and risking falling asleep through sheer boredom.
