US is more or less the only country that actually goes extra mile to deal with cybercrime, the reason people call UK/US extradiction treaty one sided is because police in UK does not give a fook about things that US actually wants to deal with.

I wonder if this guy is paying for lawyers with the money he earned from his site or claims legal aid.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't - UK is very poor when it comes with cybercrime, where as US actually gets the people and puts them in jail.

He will need to explain himself in US court - even if he avoids it he will never be able to travel easily because of risk to be extradited to US.

He has not commited a crime His website merely had urls pointing to other websites just like Google does.
