£147k - not bad amount for 23 year old (he was younger back when he did it), just what kind of site he run and what exactly made him money is the question?

He has audacity to hide behind Google - "Mr O'Dwyer has argued that TVShack did not store copyright material itself and merely directed users to other sites, making it similar to Google.", it so totally isn't because unlike him Google does not primarily contains links to dodgy sites that feck over right holders.

US is more or less the only country that actually goes extra mile to deal with cybercrime, the reason people call UK/US extradiction treaty one sided is because police in UK does not give a fook about things that US actually wants to deal with.

I wonder if this guy is paying for lawyers with the money he earned from his site or claims legal aid.

As you bad repped me for saying before - we make our own laws here and anyone who prefers the USA is more than welcome to flip off there

He has not commited a crime His website merely had urls pointing to other websites just like Google does.
