Hi, your colleague x mentioned that you have a vacancy that you're considering advertising. I have some outstanding candidates on our books who can fill any role from CIO to Helldesk Operator, I'll send over their CVs.
(please be aware that if you open a CV then you irrevocably commit to using us as sole agency for every vacancy from now until the world is destroyed.)Comment

These are all excellent suggestions, but they should be preceded with "can you talk?" or "is now a good time to talk?"
Otherwise, I would'nt bother with any feedback at all from the role you were submitted for, I would just keep you waiting and wondering, and if you called me back, you would be asked what are you calling about and I would be away from my deskComment

I can honestly say that the environment now is as toxic and destructive as I have ever seen it....Weed out the morally bankrupt people, no matter how much money they make for the firm. And get the culture right again, so people want to work here for the right reasons. People who care only about making money will not sustain this firm — or the trust of its clients — for very much longerMy subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment
