Cutting personal taxes will just encourage the feckless to spend it on imported goods.

Not one politician has actually cut red tape since Maggie. They have all spoken about it and done nothing.

We cannot compete with Asia at the moment - their companies are unshacled whereas we have mindless beaurocracy.

Cut corp tax on companies that export stuff which helps improve UK's balance of trade.

It's not money we can spend, it's money we don't have to borrow. So we shouldn't borrow it.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Good point. That's my answer too.

            That's wrong answer.

Cutting taxes can increase tax take and reduce borrowing in the future, however Chancellor can't do it without making it look like the tax cut is "funded" to avoid rating agencies causing problems.

On the other hand, economy has been flat last 4 years and will probably be flat for another 6 years.

Can't we blow the 10bn on a massive party and make us all feel good for a short while? Or is this going to happen just before the next election?

Buy 10 small houses in Wandworth.

I believe in solid investment of public money.

We can then sell them to foreigners next year for £20bn.

We have the olympics and the jubilee to look forwards to.

Personally I am not looking forward to either. Olympics annoyed me because of the unfair ticket allocation. And the monarchy should be reduced to a ceremonial position only to bring in the tourists. And royalty just serve as a reminder that once this country ruled the biggest empire the globe has ever known and is now a tulip hole full of chavs and not a patch on Asia.

I'm not particularly looking forwards to either, primarily because I live in London and it's busy enough already. Still, at least they are spending money tarting the place up and it looks like I may have swung an overseas gig until it's over so I suppose I should be grateful.
