I do not condone what the driver did in any way, but from the short video clip the cyclist was being a twat and it seems had been for some time. I can understand the bus drivers anger and frustration, but not his reaction.
There are a group of cyclists who seem to think they can get away with anything and completely ignore the rules of the road. I guess as a bus driver he meets more than his fair share.
It's possible the cyclist was annoyed about something too, perhaps from being almost killed in the earlier incident with the bus, which can get your goat a bit.

I didnt see the bit that said he was almost killed in the earlier incident. If his reaction is to goad the idiot that almost killed him then he is a bigger dick than I first thought.
Just saying like.
where there's chaos, there's cash !
I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong!

There was a previous altercation, the cause of which isn't described, which is why I said 'perhaps'. It's usually the case where very massive things and very light things come into contact that the very light thing comes out very much worse.

Large objects normally win, but I chose not to draw any conclusion from what happened earlier as there is nothing stated. Usually in these stories if it adds to how bad the bad man was then it would be described.
As I said deliberately goading the bloke who has already proven he is an arse of a bus driver is not smart and from the short video the cyclist is deliberately blocking the path of the bus, it seems to me that the cyclist even stopped to wait when the bus stopped for passengers (right at the start of the vid so might be misleading). When the bus pulls out to pass the cyclist pulls out to block. The bus should not have pulled out as it is a right turn lane, so I suspect the driver was somehow frustrated.
As I said originally, I do not condone the bus drivers actions, there is never an excuse for that kind of behaviour. I was just contemplating what might have provoked him. It always seems that the cyclists are completely innocent in these stories.

Sure, going from the footage alone and ignoring earlier events the cyclist was being an arse for which he has paid generously and the bus driver a psychopath who should serve a long prison sentence and should never drive a car let alone a bus again.
So how would you react if i hurled a torrent of abuse at you and then snapped your windscreen wiper off? Honestly?
If you were hurling abuse at me because I had completely not seen you and nearly killed you, I would probably be a little contrite. If it was because you had attempted to sneak through on the inside at a corner I may point out that the highway code and common sense suggests not riding down the inside of buses when they are turning for your own safety. If you attempted to vandalise my company vehicle I might call the police, or I might drive off and then call the police, depending on the level of threat to my personal safety.
Of course, I never get cyclists hurling abuse at me because I don't drive like a ****. But there you go.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Yes, there are cyclists like that. They are probably about 1% by number of the group of like minded people in cars. The ones who don't stop at zebra crossings, don't signal, speed everywhere, park where they like including in bus lanes and bus stops, and go vigilante the moment anything upsets them. Never mind the pedestrians who seem unable to comprehend red and green lights.
