We could have a "We have been terminated in March" get together somewhere in London if you are up for it.If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here. -
LOL sounds like a plan.Originally posted by pmeswani View PostWe could have a "We have been terminated in March" get together somewhere in London if you are up for it.
A while back I saw my contract coming to an end 4 months before it eventually did. I guess I was lucky, because it really did take me that long to find another one.
In the end the original client wanted me to stay another 3 months, but that would have been the final extension anyway so I left to go to the new contract.
I'm always looking out, just in case, because I know my area is way too niche (i.e. dying --> dead)Comment

If its before March 9th, then fine but after that if I've not got a contract, bench finance measures will be invoked and I won't be drinking anything but water until I am back off the bench. Sorry.Originally posted by pmeswani View PostWe could have a "We have been terminated in March" get together somewhere in London if you are up for it.

No. April is round the corner with all those lovely new budgets to spend. Most projects start the recruitement process 4-6 weeks early so around about nowish the phone will start ringing.Originally posted by mrdonuts View Postanyone noticed a sharp falloff on gigs on jobserve over last week

Hmmm , my bench budget doesn't allow for flights to London from cloggersOriginally posted by pmeswani View PostWe could have a "We have been terminated in March" get together somewhere in London if you are up for it.

Though mine was more self terminate rather than stay around and things to get worse, I still had ambulance chasers from other departments

End of March for me but I think there's a good chance of an extension being offered should I want it. Plenty of projects on the go and new ones in the pipeline.
It's not all doom and gloom..........famous last words
