Maybe I should have replaced the made in Romania retreads on my van. #1 son reports his winter tyres are brilliant but I'd rather risk serious death than spend 4x80 quid +VAT.

Are the summer tyres put in storage to be swapped back when it warms up?

BTW in London and the South East the weather isn't consistently cold enough in Winter which screws up the idea of getting winter tyres.
