This weekend I am starting to build my first model engine in the workshop that we built in the garden. It's a single cylinder oscillating steam engine based on plans published in 1912. The father-in-law has been sorting out the bits of brass and copper for me this week. It's only about 4" high though - starting small. The aim is to learn how to properly use the lathe, milling machine, soldering techniques etc.
Not planning on going out much, might pop down the pub.
How about you?
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
Saturday Im going to drive up to see my dad, then out for a few beers with some mates in the evening.
Sunday tolerating my the inlaws (may also involve sloping off to the pub to have a chat with the husband...)
