I love the fact they've carried on having kids considering he's been on the dole for 10 years. And Sky FFS! Plus mobiles!
It is not a hooman right to have a mobile or Sky.
Hey wait - how else is he to take those job offer calls or learn which payment protection insurance / ambulance chaser / gold to cash convertor / loan consolidator to use?
'The market for my skills dried up 10 years ago - there's a total lack of work in my area of expertise.'
Re-train FFS!
'On the cigarettes, my wife tried to give up, but she missed one appointment on the course and they threw her off it.'
So it's some else's fault. That's the problem, people like these don't take responsibility for their own circumstances, it's always someone else's fault.
My net salary is just over £30k. So I work my butt off for 37.5 hours a week, and get about the same as this bunch of wasters. Great! Why do I bother? (Rhetorical)
Firstly he is clearly not stupid. secondly he is a classic example of someone who has been disincentivised to find work.
socialists (sorry to drone on) think that paying this person and family to live on benefits is virtuous it is not. Had his benefits been removed or dramatically reduced years ago he would have been forced (I prefer to call it incentivised) to find work and have fewer children.
This man has now been reduced to a welfare dependent delinquent - lacking any confidence or aspirations to move out of his lifestyle, such is the cruelty of welfare so beloved of the left.
the kindest thing to have done to this guy is to have had his benefits taken away/reduced ages ago.
Rather than sneer at him he needs help getting back into work with training and coaching - carrot and stick.
To all you socialists that uncritically support the public sector and its welfare machine you should be ashamed of yourselves. you may feel better about yourselves but your victims are ruined.
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Offer him a gig DA , although you may struggle to get him sober by the sounds of it
Sneering at people on benefits is like hunter-gatherers scoffing at those eccentrics who decided to stay in one place and plant their own food and raise animals. We workers are the people with an endangered lifestyle.
We workers are the people whose taxes pay for him to sit on his feckin' arse for the last decade!
I mean, seriously, it's like someone @ the beeb is trying to troll the entire internet. In which case, nicely done. The daily mail would be too obvious about it.
