General Motors (GM) has confirmed that it is considering axing 1,000 jobs in the UK this year.
The group hopes to cut production of the Vauxhall Astra model at its plant in Ellesmere Port, Merseyside, GM Europe chief Carl-Peter Forster said.

I would have thought that the Hot Water Bottle industry is more a seasonal industry, again perhaps there are those who purchase them in the summer, you never know.

Perhaps they fill them with ice in the summer, now theres a thought.
