He probably needed help at the project kick-off meeting too...

Can anyone remember which contract it is SY01 is supposed to be going to? Is it the old one he stuffed up, or the new one he is going to stuff up?

          Still trucking

Poor love is exhausted. Can't sit or lie down. Just over 14 hours of this now. And still no waters broken.
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Sod's law says all the time you are pacing around in the hospital nothing will happen. So why not just go home and relax?

We are in fact at home already. SY02 wanted a home birth. The baba is posterior which is dragging things out.

Currently foogling posteriour labour, and waiting for the frakin midwife to come back

I would recommend going to the hospital. Posteriors are pretty long labours and the mom will be too exhausted by the time its time to push. Happened to my wife and eventually the doc had to use suciton. If the baby gets distressed they might even contemplate C section. For all that its better to be at the hospital.

Also, waters need not break. Sometimes its manually broken by the midwife.

This is my concern. She is exhausted.
