for the first time in my life I will be having Christmas dinner at a restaurant, with the wife and other members of her family. Hopefully it will be stress free, no prep, no basting and most importantly no clearing up afterwards.

What is everyone else doing?

A roast dinner is a piece of piss, all you need to be able to understand is a basic Gannt chart which tells you in which order to start cooking the separate bits.

I will be eating a barbecue at the in-laws house. To make matters worse I have heard that the two of the three sides of Mrs Gonzo's family have had a serious falling out in the last few weeks.
