There's a good way to have your head in a vice?Originally posted by zeitghostThese are excellent:
ESP950 Electrostatic Headphones - full size headphones - headphones - products - koss headphones
Sadly, wearing them is like having your head in a vice, and not in a good way.

OK they don't seem to make the exact ones I have any more, this seems to be this years version:
Sennheiser UK - HD 558
I also have some of these Sennheiser UK - HD 280 PRO which aren't actively noise cancelling but block out noise like ear muffs.
I bought the missus some cordless ones a while ago as well
They all go around the ear rather than on top of it which I find a lot more comfortable, it does make them bulkier though. I wasn't keen on the AKG ones as they mostly sit on top. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

AKG or Beyerdynamics.

Sennheiser are alright but IMO poorly made and not as long lasting.Comment

I bought these for the studio as they were cheap and would do for singers being recorded with a backing track. Amazing value for money at around £40.

Wow there is a whole new world out there for the true headphone connoisseur! FWIW I like the Denons as they're seemingly made from wood.Originally posted by realityhack View PostAKG or Beyerdynamics.
