Train eviction video: 'Big Man' is charged

It seemed from the video that he only had a single ticket in the other direction. Was he claiming that he had bought a return but only had the outbound part of the ticket to show the ticket inspector? If so, it would be pretty easy to tell if he was lying as a single ticket purchased on its own has SGL printed on it, whereas a return has OUT on the outbound ticket and RTN on the return part."A life, Jimmy, you know what that is? It’s the s*** that happens while you’re waiting for moments that never come." -- Lester Freamon -
He'd been told that it was cheaper to buy a single outbound and a separate single for the return journey than getting the cheapest return. He claims the ticket office messed up and gave him two tickets for the outbound journey.Originally posted by Freamon View PostIt seemed from the video that he only had a single ticket in the other direction. I'm not trying to defend the scrote... he probably was lying! Then if he wasn't lying he would have 2 outbound tickets and any mates he was with would also have valid tickets.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostHe'd been told that it was cheaper to buy a single outbound and a separate single for the return journey than getting the cheapest return. Anyway the onus is on you to check your tickets before you travel and make sure you get on the right trains."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

You have to consider this is a Scotrail train, populated by drunkards.
