997 Turbo seems to be good motor but it would take like 3-4 more years for a 2012 model to be worth £50k...Comment

997 non turbos now in the mid £20ks. Are they likely to hold value better than the 996 due to being perceived as more reliable and a more modern package?

Worse case I've come across was a new director turning up in a Ferrari on his first day. Turns out he'd hired it to make a grand entrance.
Second worse case was me turning up in a brand new Lotus Exige (S1, of which only around 700 were made so pretty rare and even more so that it had only just been released) and having to reverse down the ramp to the car park as the front splitter was too low.
