      Why should Credit Agricole (Agrocultural Credit?) even have "investment banking" which I am sure wasn't investing (ie farms, tools for them etc) into agroculture?

          The moment it started going wrong when those banks engaged into things they were not meant for in the first place - the main reason is of course higher margins in "investment banking".
