You can't tell them they are idiots because they get upset.

You can't show them the error of their ways because they are too stupid to comprehend.

What are you supposed to do?

Should I resort to Schopenhauer? Will it help or is it optimised for defence against the thinking?

At some point its easier just to avoid the conversation in the first place.

One of the characteristics of an idiot is that they don't know they are one. A trait you display with every post.

I don't see the point in arguing. In the traditional sense I mean. Your post reeks of emphatic and emotional techy with few people skills.

You meet idiots in all walks of life, and while working with these idiots you HAVE to be able to get your point across. Did it occur that these idiots also think you're an idiot? Hence why they don't listen.

That said, some people are just too close to primordial slime to work with, and immediate cessation of cooperation will quickly expose them so they are wiped away with a damp cloth by the management before they become an embarrassment.

Make sure you are not also guilty of idiocy, or even the remotest perception of idiocy. These things have a nasty habit of coming back to bite you when you least expect.
