Caught up with The Newsroom, Aaron Sorkin (Sports Night/West Wing creator)'s new show, very enjoyable first season and season two this year

He died. He was shot from behind. He never even heard it, as they pointed out several times in the show. There's a lot more in-depth stuff about the pattern the director builds up of people entering the diner and Tony's point of view but basically he gets shot by one of the guys you see come into the diner and then go to the bathroom. It wasn't a dream, it wasn't purgatory, the island did exist, the plane did crash.

S3 of Game of Thrones is now due to air Easter weekend in USA.

IIRC The Sparanos ended with them going out for a meal, and nothing happening. I've been out for meals myself where nothing much has happened, and nobody described it as genius.

The Newsroom was very good, but pure Aaron Sorkin cliché stuff. The Bin Laden episode annoyed me.

Nothing much from the USA these days apart from How I Met Your Mother. Mostly into Japanese manga and anime these days.

I agree that he probably did get shot but that doesn't get away from the fact that he maybe didn't and another new mega-bucks series will come along in a few years.

Tried my usual site and I get a message from Virgin telling me they have to stop traffic to this site.
