What has cost you a grand?
Conveyancing - not sure, but at least £300 so far
Feeling gobsmacked - just was getting ready for solicitor meeting: £10,000.
The bank had mortgage of £315k per flat there, tried to sell for £225k accepted £215k - then put another on market (still on rightmove) for £225 - maybe they lied about personnel change and someone just decided to buy whole lot
FK it, I might just get a new car then.Comment

That's a lot for a survey.
You don't need a full survey for a new build as it has a 10 year warranty anyway.
Just get the cheapest survey if the bank insists.Comment
