In a country with a tiny population say 100,000 and 95,000 are unemployed, do you think that countries economy is sound, well by your reckoning yes because 95k is much less than 1 million unemployed in countries with larger populations, this is basic Math.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostWhy is the rate important to the unemployed individuals concerned?Comment

But the number of of people unemployed in Germany is nearly the same as the UK and over double that of Greece. What is your point? You are contradicting your own arguments, missing out pertinent facts and twisting things to your own warped sense of the world.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostAre you saying there is less unemployed people in the UK than there is in Greece? Fantastic how you cannot admit that!
What are lines on a map but just that when people are free to move between them for work.
Your assuming that the ratio between the employed / economically inactive / unemployed is static and matched across countries.

Excellent, if I'm not part of a group I'm an extremist, upon which your survival is dependant. Go on, bite the hand see what happens.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostContracting is a classic example of "extreme capitalism". It is an example of how goods and services are bought and sold according to their value on the market. There is no deference to any concepts of socialism within this particular activity. I think the word is hypocrisy

Actually my rates are quite modest and I donate loads to charity mainly the PBL Plc. (poor bankers of London)."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Germany has a manufacturing base with which to pay the unemployed masses, the UK has postcards and cream tea. How's that going to work?"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment
