Maybe it's time Germany paid back its debts and war reparations?

Alternatively they could listen to you.

There is the rather plausible possibility, nay certainty, that you're not very high level and therefore work with a bunch of plebs.
I don't think they're discussing the Euro crisis in hair salons in the UK either
      Hard Brexit now!

It is interesting that pooperscoop likes to "debate" the situation with the Euro in purely tribal terms. It suggests he has "issues" that are nothing to do with the problems of the EU economies.

Indeed. Has he mentioned this yet, hot off the press from Scootopia?

German and French officials have discussed plans for a radical overhaul of the European Union that would involve setting up a more integrated and potentially smaller eurozone

The change has been discussed on an "intellectual" level

Another move by arrogant socialists wanting to make a name for themselves without doing anything constructive to earn it. I wonder which poor dupes will fall for this - I would imagine Poland with high EU growth rates will be taken in by "Germans bearing gifts"

              Italian bonds rally

Incredible amount of drivel in the UK press, about the poential break up of the Eurozone.

It's pretty clear that Italy doesn't really have a serious problem.
              I'm alright Jack

That's all right then. It's all fixed. Phew.

I wouldn't bet on it. Getting those two to the point where they're competitive with the rest of Europe, let alone the economies of Asia, isn't going to be a simple process.

                      The Euro

                      IMO,
A flawed concept from day 1 - pushed through by French and Germany with the vision of 'United States of Europe'.
At some point they were going to pay the price.
Look at history and the ERM.
When Greece joined the Euro, effectively they had Germany's credit credit and went stir crazy.
