Answer to that should surely be totally obvious.

Just to name a few reasons. This is England for God's sake, not some 3rd world flea pit. If they want Shariah Law then round the blighters up and send 'em all to Mogadishu & see how they like it.

if the people of Libya had a referendum and agrred to have an Islamic state that is fine
No it isn't, the fact that a people vote for a repressive regime doesn't justify it. Even outcome of a free vote must be subject to some basic limits, like freedom of the individual and equality. May as well argue that laws excluding blacks from various jobs would be ok if Brits vote the BNP in.

The reason why islamic extremists are in the UK is because they have been thrown out of their own islamic country for being extremists.

Nonsense, these attitudes are mainstream in Saudi Arabia, just to mention one.

No. Articles about this do not just appear in what you probably regard as the reactionary press but also in publications like the Jewish Chronicle and Pink News. I was also reading an article recently in a Church magazine expressing concern at the growing number of attacks on Christian clergy.

Ahh, "Pink News", "Jewish Chronicle" and a "Church Magazine"... All with their own little agenda...

Do you not think that we (In Great Britain & Northern Ireland) have laws that cover what you're suggesting is happening?
