One of my housemates when at Uni used to buy frozen rice. I could never work out the point of that either.

I buy frozen sprouts. Got better things to be doing Christmas morning than trimming sprouts. I stick 'em in the steamer and they always come out nice. My mother always comments "These sprouts are lovely, you can tell they're fresh."
