      I'll have you know, I'm a fully paid up member of this stinking country with a passport to prove it. I did have to swear allegiance to the Queen (which was interesting!) but I don't have to give up my Irish passport

        Why did you bother? Purely out of interest, I find it intriguing that people would do that for purposes other than getting a work visa.
