Travellers = bunch of scruffy twats who dont think the laws of the land apply to them. Chuck them all out.

The land is owned by the travellers and they have the legal right to be there. What they don’t have is planning permission. As the travellers don’t have another home to go to; they will act desperately. I don’t understand how the police can get involved in enforcing planning controls.

The police have gone in acting on intelligence that the 'extra forces' drafted into dale farm were planning on committing a serious breach of the peace and assaulting anyone entering the camp who were there to enforce the planning controls, i.e. the bailiffs.

The police have every right to get involved at that stage.
