    WHS.

Who cares about inflation? It's only there to freeze and starve poor people, whilst billionaires become trillionaires.

It doesn't seem long ago when inflation was regarded as a menace, but now it's the best thing since wheelbarrows of bread.

Why is euroland reluctant to press the print button?

Look at this idiocy from the Telegraph:

"BORROWERS – inflation is good news for those who have large debts, as it effectively reduces the size of the debt in real terms. With inflation at 5.2pc your debt effectively halves in 12 years. So those with large mortgage debt, outstanding loans and credit cards will benefit from higher inflation. "

From: Inflation at 5.2pc: winners and losers - Telegraph

They have very wrongly assumed wages are keeping up with this engineered inflation.

For many, wages are static - but their outgoings are increasing. Only lower interest rates positively affect the outgoings for debtors.

Because the group consensus know printing solves nothing but to only delay action.

If they don't print trade with the UK shall hurt one more than the other.

You are struggling I can see, so let me help you. All the people on benefits an pensioners get a hike based on these inflation figures, so from next year they will all get a hike of 5%.

You mean all the people who take from the economy rather than give, how do they matter in the big picture? Where does this hike come from, from the productive workers taxes. The same workers who generally wont be getting an increase big enough to cover their own inflation will be forced to pay for others. This society is toast.

We should allow those who over stretched themselves to go bankrupt, or be forced to downsize, run only one car etc etc This is the only way things will be fixed, but its quite clear the government will not do the right thing. Prepare your exit strategy, its only going to get worse and worse.

All the people on benefits get inflation linked rise to their benefits cheque. So it only affects those struggling by working, so they may as well fall back on the state like the rest.

Is inflation a good enough reason to put in for a 5.2% rate rise?

Good luck with that. Rates and salaries are the same now as they were 15 years ago.
