Its quoted to have 3 seconds from 0-60 vs less than 3.5 seconds for M15, the price different is something 12-15 times, this makes Bugatti a car that is confined strinctly to be shown in movies or kept in well locked garages.

That's right - Noble is on the road giving real 3.5 sec and I'd like to see chances of it racing with Bugatti.

      Sadly, unaffordable.

      But a beautiful car nonetheless!

So, if there was a car looking just like bugatti but with Ssang Yung badge and no 16-cylinder sillyness, with price tag of £15k, would you still want it?

Maybe. But one of the reasons I like cars, let's say TVR as an example, is not just looks but the raw feel, the noise, the smell of leather and glue, the way the car makes heads turn, the ride and sometimes the rough around the edges feel and the sheer noise, thrills and power when you punch it.

Bit like owning the Millenium Falcon - it can make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs - but only sometimes.

Millenium Falcon was infinitely more useful than whole production run of Bugatties - just where exactly would you want to drive at 250 mph? 150 mph is ought to be enough for everyone!

<myth>"640k should be enough for anyone - W.Gates"</myth>

Well, I've been 170mph in the Tuscan in Germany (on the way to Heidelberg if I remember with the roof down, outgunning a white Porsche 911. Could have gone faster but the wife woke up! Curses!)

Well, you could try doing 250mph here:

The 0-60 time is not really a good measure of a cars performance. Clarkson raves about the Veyron, and he's tried most supercars. But I think you miss the point. There are people who are so rich they can afford anything, and the Veyron is so spectacular that such people must add one to the collection. And Volkswagon made a huge loss on each one. It was done for prestige.

I still don't understand why TVR are not doing well. Apart from the name. Trevor. For goodness sake.

TVRs stand out of other cars - I never driven one but understand and believe they are very fast, however they lack good marketing and their design choice is seriously for those who like the way it looks - I don't so I would never buy one.

Noble with M15 and Lotus Esprit are the kind of design I like, now they are more expensive than your average TVR, but I would rather drive £12k nice looking car (PUG 307) than ugly looking and more expensive new BMW, TVR etc.

Do you want to buy one of my boats? I'll show you how to throw money away! The most economical one we own consumes (devours, surely) 17 gallons of petrol(not diesel) an hour as she travels a mere 55 miles. So, if you ever need a lesson in spending money, give myself or Mrs Churchill a call.

Anyway, if I ever win the lottery I shall treat the money as expendible and the Veyron will be mine!!!!!
