You need to seriously consider e-cigs (or vaping). I know quite a few who moved on to this and actually prefer it to real cigs.

No carcinogens and exhale water vapour.

Stride confidently up to the counter and order 20 of your favourite old brand. Then walk off wondering who the hell pays nearly £7 a packet. I used to love smoking but bloody hell.

Of course it's not the same if you are a full time smoker.

But for someone struggling to give up, or to beat off the cravings, it's a very helpful stepping stone.

I don't smoke, but I love using the 0% nicotine ones in pubs occasionally and watching the Righteous go apoplectic, especially when you pop it back in your top pocket

It did not help me in these circumstances. Also why would eBay ban them completely if they were a good thing. No one knows what the Chinese put in them.

Drinking and smoking, among other things.

It's amazing how uneducated and subject to propaganda people are. The oldest woman in the world was a smoker as many other people are that dont expire to "smoking" related diseases. Smoking is better for your health than living in a city. On average, urban living increases your lung cancer risks by 20%. The amount of toxins and concentration in city and industrial areas is far higher than a pack of cigarettes a day. Smoking has also been proven to be very good for your mental health, trialled in mental health tests, it significantly reduced stress and was a factor in avoiding several mental health conditions/breakdowns.

The fact is, it is an easy scapegoat for the NHS to dismiss patients as they dont have the intellect to explain there are too many factors at play in modern life to pinpoint one aspect and proper control conditions for any scientific test can never be implemented. I know many people in hospital; such as someone who had lung cancer, even though they never smoked and a mother giving birth to an underweight body who had a nurse scream at her for smoking while pregnant. The fact is, she has never smoked or drunk at all in her life, very christian, etc. The reason why the child was underweight was due to a genetic condition, but dont let the facts get in the way NHS.

It is all about moderation with anything in your lifestyle. One thing doesnt kill you unless taken to the extreme excess. Usually your lifestyle, a cumilation of factors is ultimately what makes you expire sooner.

cf. Australia. Big pharma and a powerful lobby industry.
