When it became apparent that no-body on our team knew how to 'spin' they sent me over the road to watch a guy making lampshades from sheet metal.
Something has to 'give' to stop excess heat so when spinning soft material you use a hard tool, when spinning a hard material you use a soft tool... Halcyon days.
