BBC News - Self-healing materials take cue from nature

Not quite as biodegradable as environmentalists would like, but there would be no need to throw them away in the first place.

Would also be handy if they could get it to work with tarmac so they didn't have to keep resurfacing roads, and potholes would be banished to history.
The problem with carrier bags relates to their immortality as things stand, so this would be the Freddy Krueger of the grocery bag world.

Well very good for you. It's also a fantastic argument against the idiotic idea of a seperate English parliament. I think there's enough government in the world thank you very much.

Will the chav classes still be able to use the new biodegradable bags for glue sniffing?

I see the feckwhits will be giving you targets by which 'to measure their performance'.
BBC News - Labour's targets pledge in five-year programme in Wales

          That'll be fun.

Group discounted drink is being banned tomorrow in Scotland.

I will have to go down for my BOGOF Lambrusco tonight.

WHAT! Those who get rounds in normally get a discount!?

Not my fault I was born a tight northerner and so never get a round in.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

In the interim, I've acquired sufficient bags to keep me going for a while.

Those tesco bags are crap though

I think the Tesco bags are designed to degrade, they've got some tinkering to do though as mine always lose integrity before I get home.

For this reason I try and use Sainsburys bags in Tesco, everyone thinks I'm dead posh.

Was just in Oddbins to get some beers and all the beer deals had been taken off the tills so she had to put it through as cash. No more 6 for 5 quid stellas as of tomorrow, 1.50 a can each
