Dangerous combination - boozing/gambling

I feel an expensive weekend coming up - there is a Beer Festival and race meeting at Ascot this Friday/Saturday. I'm going on Saturday - doors open and 11am, first race 2pm - three hours of drinking rough cider before my first bet - it could get messy.

Bit that surprised me ins that Ade Edmondson and his band are providing the musical entertainment - didn't know he performed. Although thinking about it, I'm sure I remember him being in Celebrity Fame Accademy (or whatever it was called).
