Why does this remind me of Gordon's golden rules?

If find the sort of policy build 25000 homes and give out 100,000 jobs rather pointless, when millions of people need jobs and affordable homes. Has overtones of the lottery i.e. if you vote for us there is a slight chance you might get a cheap house or a job. These sort of things make hardly difference other than provide some photo opps, and a "happy story" to stick in their manifesto's. Sort of thing they'd do in the Soviet Union.
        I'm alright Jack

Balls and Brown: both cheeks of the same felching, rotten, money grabbing, thieving, pension destroying, cultural marxist, common purpose, rancid, wealth destroying Liebour arse.

              3) Reversing January's "damaging" VAT rise now for a temporary period
              4) Immediate one-year cut in VAT to 5% on home improvements, repairs and maintenance
              5) One-year national insurance tax break "for every small firm which takes on extra workers, using the money left over from the government's failed national insurance rebate for new businesses"

Source: BBC News - Labour conference: Balls unveils five-point growth plan

#5 is the only one making remote sense and he is a complete idiot suggesting cut in VAT would make any difference apart from massive loss of tax revenue.
1 - What jobs are these young people going to do, I always have doubts when I hear that politicians can guarantee jobs, does Balls want to copy the Italians where they have none jobs just to give people something to do and sod the debt?

2 - Possible, but £5 billion will not turn it around on its own.

3 - Balls is talking Balls - this will not make any difference other than adding to the existing debt, the last time they did this it did not change anything. Is the reduction of a TV from £500 to £490 really going to make people spend, spend, spend?

4 - As someone said, much of this is evaded anyway, and will not make much difference, if any.

5 - If a new employee was on £15K, is the saving of employers nic going to sway the decision? I doubt it and anyway, what about large employers, this is not consistent and is just a play to the unions and naive public.
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero

What I find amusing is how Balls now says that they won't know the state of the economy after current Govt, yet they were berating Conservatives for exactly the same answer just couple of years ago.

It's about time new act was introduced to punish those attempting to obtain public office by deception.

Apart from the fact they would probably all be migrant workers
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Will anyone ever believe anything that comes out of his mouth ever again?
