That's my plan of owning a vineyard in Europe fooked.
Wines from India do not affect the market significantly and the UK is not the main market.
There are various ways to run a vineyard:
1. Rent one. Rent is payable one month after harvest.
2. Buy one and rent it out.
3. Buy one and sell the grapes to a winery.
4. Buy one and bottle it yourself. There a loads for sale.
One thousand square metres should produce between 1 to 4 tonnes of grapes. 1kg of grapes makes one 75cl bottle of wine. All wine making is taxed during the making.
