Got the chance to play with it today. I don't get it, was told the touch screen interface is for desktops too. How does that work when they install it in my office?

I really don't want a touchscreen PC until they solve the fingerprint problem. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

I got it running in VirtualBox too.
Not keen on this new fad of hiding scrollbars until you guess that they might be there and wave your mouse around a bit, and that was during the install.
Also not keen on the way they try to persuade you to use "your favourite email address" as the account name - I didn't fall for that obvious fishing exercise.
The lack tf the start button has me wondering how to drive the thing, and the number of game looking stuff on the Metro menu reminded me of all the extra crap that OEMs used to load on top of Winders.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

I would like to see a user definable grid system for laying out windows and an easier way of tiling them and adjusting the dividing lines. Once you have a sufficiently large screen that's exactly what you need.Originally posted by realityhack View Post
