      The observatories up on the top are fantastic. If you drive up from PDLC watch out for coaches coming the other way. There's a nice little restaurant at the junction where you turn off for the observatories.

        Yeah, nice views no doubt, but would get cold at night. I'd prefer to kip much lower down. Would be a jolly yomp up there no doubt, especially carrying a pack and enough water.

                      I'd probably register at a camp site (many of which are which are free but time and resource limited) and reconnoitre for wildcamping spots, as with Ibiza.
