I have a recent i5 2500k upgrade too, current best bang-per-buck IMO.
Also have dual SSD and 16gb ram.
Slightly disappointed the Sandy Bridge mobos only offer 4 ram slots (dual channel), so the uber-cheap 4gb sticks limit them to 16gb.
At least they support 32gb if the 8gb sticks come down in price in the near future. Otherwise there's always Sandy Bridge-E with it's quad channel ram out soon, though at a premium.
Been using Virtual Box to utilise all that performance and ram, and pretty impressed so far. Though I do occasionally get blue-screen-of-death but that's probably the Windows 7 64bit host throwing a fit.
