USA does not believe in anything as there is no state religion, in fact their written constitution helped deal with some religious nutters (like that judge who wanted to keep 10 commendments stone) nicely, especially in state schools where (to the best of my knowledge) it is forbidden to teach religion due to separation of religion and state.

I am pretty comfortable with US having nukes, but I am certainly not when it comes to Iran or North Korea, in that order.

I am with AtW on that one.
I think Islam offers heaven and all those virgins to those who die in a Holy war. So why not start one with nukes.
Not likely in the US unless one of those rapturists gets into power. Even then there are lots of sane people in the chain of command to stop it.
