Yes, it was a good benching, and by far the worst year of my life.
I am a mechanical/electrical technical author, from the nuclear power/fuel/waste equipment 'culture'.
It's just been a very bad time for the nuclear industry up here (in Cumbria), but hopefully things are starting to pick up a little.
To be honest, I didn't get asked much about the immediate past. My CV reads like 'War and Peace' and the interviewers were from the same goldfish bowl as me, so they already knew for themselves how bad things have been.Comment
