Playing Devil's advocate here, but how does that differ from Sharia law?

On them! On them! They fail!

If the EDL's the solution I think I'd prefer the problem.

I disagree. They can never win a popular vote. They want to grow a mass movement, and then engineer or exploit a crisis to launch a putsch, as in Beer Hall Putsch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Now, I'm not a fan of Hitler so am not into the extreme brutality, but they must certainly be opposed.
So how do you oppose them then, by smashing them or by engaging with them? You're a ******* hypocrite OG, you were sneering at Minestrone for wanting to circumvent the rule of law and ostracise the looters, yet here's you preaching the same message.

I disagree, if Sharia is important to the community then they should be allowed to integrate that into the UK. To a point. UK law should always take precedent and Sharia should not be allowed to creep out to interfere with the wider public. In contrast if someone wants to be a full fledged signed up member of the BNP then let them. If they want to go to festivals and listen to skinhead rants then let them. To a point. Their extremism shouldn't be allowed to interfere with the general public.

What does that have to do with anything.

                  OK, stand corrected.

Hopefully they're inviting anyone in the community to join them so it doesn't become a race issue.

I see the news are hailing the broom squad organised via Twitter and Facebook to help clean up the mess. Obviously the main attraction to the media is that it's the whole community coming together, not just one section of it.

The easiest way of stopping the trouble would be if the community uprising included some of the relatives of those causing the trouble, allowing them to sort out their own family before the police do it for them.
