Shimano, I'm not sure what you mean by '.Net software', but Microsoft are currently beta testing Visual Studio 2005 -you can download it for free. Hurry while stocks last!

Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 is now available to MSDN Subscribers through the MSDN Download Center and to all others for a nominal fee.

I got an 'evaluation' copy of Visual Studio using BitTorrent. Download the Azureus client (or similar) and google for "visual studio torrent".
