No weekend thread

Well just arrived in Köln (Cologne to English people) from Münster. Didn't give me the hotel room I booked so will demand a rebate. Tonight might just drink some Kolsch at Früh im Veedel or go to Blue Shell or join the cocktail tour...decisions

Tomorrow I will be at the Rhein-Energie stadium to see FC Köln vs. Arsenal (without Fabregas I've just heard) and then a few drinks with friends (which may well go on for a long time). Back home sometime Sunday to swiftly relax, cook Sunday dinner and pack my back to drive back to Münster early Monday morning.

Last time I was in Köln I found a place which did Himmel un Ääd which was just great. Can't remember the restaurant but traditional complete with fat moustachioed rude German waiter, it was an act he put on but great fun, made Basil Fawlty look like a choir boy.

The Kolsch was great as well.
