Apparantly 7 is to do with his number at Man U. I'm not a Man U fan so can't confirm this.

Harper, is an old English name (really??!!) - I heard mention it was also in reference to the book 'To kill a mocking bird' but somehow I doubt either of the Beckhams have read that

Probably have, it was set text for English Lit O'level for years.

It's possible they have as I don't believe there are too many big words in there. I think Harper is quite a nice name.

Harper Lee (the author) was born Nelle Harper Lee so it's after her, it's from her middle name.
