If we now stop driving big V8 4x4's the world is going to be plunged into an ice age.

I'm off to do my bit to save the planet.

Don't do it! If the last few winters are anything to go by we need to reduce carbon emissions. Earth may be warming but the UK doesn't appear to be, except maybe according to meteorologists. As a northerner, you should know this. Has the snow cleared yet?

If we reduce carbon, all the Chinese soot will freeze us to death. If we increase CO2, climate change will cause freezing winters in the northern hemisphere.

Only taxation can save us now.
