I think that's rather sad, a parent that would think that about their own child.

So there you are, saying it's sad to think that being around a toddler all day would be boring.

so clearly most people would agree that interaction with adults is necessary for a normal existance, and wanting it isn't "sad". So why are you saying it is?

Just because you're a homemaker, doesnt mean you have to spend all day and night either on the playmat with the child or chained up in the kitchen. Why do you presume all stay at home parents should have no interaction with adults just because they look after a child all day? For instance, you can take your child out to the park and interact with adults like your partner or other parents as I previously stated.

Why not? I'd have a huge amount of respect for anyone looking after a child & house fulltime - regardless of the sex of the person.

Going to the office all day is infinitely easier, and we all know it.
