I'd also like to point out that that is a roadbike, and you quite categorically stated that you were going to do it on a mountain bike with racing tyres.

Sure, no problem. Not the greatest footage as when on a road bike you use the drop handle bars you change your riding position so film more road than countryside. Also the camera was at a jaunty angle. I will be fitting the camera to the handlebars in future.

You need to train properly. Once you get fit that's a 4-5 hour ride.
