It's a term of endearment in lower class watering holes darn sarf as well. I remember having a a drunken chat in one of them with my mate (ex Royal Navy) about how there were 150 ways of saying the word, each with a different meaning.Originally posted by k2p2 View PostAfter playing it in scrabble today, scrabble buddy told me that it's a term of endearment north of the border.
So would any of you Scottish c***s like to confirm/deny this before I try it on Scots colleague at clientCo?
Not sure if there really were 150, but certainly if you soften the c so it is pronounced at the back of the throat, over pronounce the newly softened c, lower your voice, and deliver it with a shot in the arm and a wink it is most certainly received as a term of endearment along the lines of "you silly bugger"Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment
