Can we please stop spreading the pernicious misconception that a spreadsheet can substitute for a relational database?

I had a client who ran their entire business on linked excel spreadsheets. Worked like a charm provided no machines were switched off.

Then once the source is open, search for "reputationbit"

It should be part of a construct like this

Just because you can query it doesn't make it a relational database

If it doesn't follow Codd and Date's rules then it's just a database
